With such a focus on education and inspiring people into the industry (it’s a worldwide issue people – believe us!) we’re loving this collab between international educator Sharon Blain and make-up artist Sarah Laidlaw at Box Hill Institute. The Institute aims to partner with top industry experts to ensure its teachers receive first-rate, fashion-forward hairdressing experiences and that students are able to assist during the shoot, gaining experience and a first-hand understanding of career pathways. Nicely done! Box Hill Institute’s students from hairdressing, makeup and floristry all contributed their skills to the shoot – based on distinctive, Afghani-inspired garments by Box Hill graduate Geeta Akrami.
