Good Retail Day

Have you ever checked what retail tools you sell the most of? I bet it’s something you use yourself. Authentic enthusiasm for the item is what sells. Something you love so much you can’t help and shout about it. Something you’ve seen fabulous results with, that you tell your clients to try the same.

Whilst we’re all guilty of sticking to what we know and being comfortable with our own tried and tested techniques; unfortunately it’s not the path to retail success. Being part of the ghd Premier Programme, allows the salon to receive education about the benefits of each ghd tool, the technology behind it, and the techniques that can be achieved with the right know-how. We have no doubt that after some fun and interactive seminars, the entire team will have a new confidence boost when it comes to trying new things with clients. AND in return,  be able to reccomend and sell more retail. For most salon teams enhanced sales mean more opportunities for incentives, rewards and targets. All of which are much more meaningful and achievable when product knowledge is instinctive and there is a clear approach to retail.

We’ve got some feedback from salons who have already taken up this seminar

Samantha Byrne – Vanilla Hair Design in Co. Carlow
As hairdressers we are creatures of habit, I found my team loved the tools they work best with, but when something new comes in, they shy off. The Premier Programme has inspired both me and my team to get online and keep ourselves upskilled. With our online education – and in the future, our in-salon education – we will now have the confidence to recommend and use the newest tools and products.

Les Jones – Inizio, Newark
Since becoming a Premier salon, we are far more creative with our clients’ finished result and understanding how to get the look. We rarely have those I’m not sure how to do it’ moments any more!

Kay McIntryre – McIntryres, Dundee
We have gained a better knowledge and ability across the team to generate a differential price brand for ‘ghd curls’ as a targeted service in the salon. That has grown steadily, and we have constant in-salon sales too. Stylists now positively recommend what they are doing in front of their clients; and we all feel included in the long-running partnership we have forged with ghd.

Connor Grant – Connor & Company
Since the introduction of the programme, we have had increased sales, taken our salon targets to the next level and introduced more staff incentives. The retail aspect of the salon has grown – I’d highly recommend the programme to anyone.
