Scalp Scope Service

Scalp concerns can be tricky and sensitive, but it’s your job to help support and guide clients who may be experiencing them. To make identifying and treating scalp issues more accessible in the salon, certified trichologist Tiffany Hall launches the Scalp Scope Service.

About

The Scalp Scope Service is a collaborative trichology package that Tiffany designed to enhance the level of care you can provide for clients. And there are more benefits, as this will help your salon stand out and create natural upselling and cross-selling opportunities. We like this!

More details

The Scalp Scope Service uses a digital analyser which takes detailed, microscopic images of the client’s hair and scalp in the salon. With these images, Tiffany provides a professional, advanced scalp analysis. She will assess scalp health and follicle quality, identify potential issues, and create personalised care recommendations for ongoing treatment of symptoms. Tiffany designed resources that provide training, education, and marketing guidance to support the service. So you can be sure all the bases are covered.

Tiffany says: “It’s time we start talking more about hair loss and its impact. The skin is our largest organ, and there is a lot out there to support skin care on the face and body, but often, the scalp gets forgotten. 80% of all women will experience hair loss by the time they’re 60.

“As hair experts, we know that the scalp directly impacts the quality, growth and condition of our clients’ hair, in both men and women. But without trichology knowledge or expertise, often scalp issues are innocently missed or mistreated with inappropriate products. My Scalp Scope Service brings in-house trichologist expertise to your salon at an affordable price.”

Retail opportunity

Salons will receive a personalised treatment plan for clients, enhancing the level of care they can provide. By identifying scalp health issues and recommending appropriate treatments, salons can offer additional services, specialised hair care, or premium hair care products. This helps to increase the average transaction value and drive revenue growth.

Tiffany says: “When a trichologist and hairdressers work together, hair magic happens. Bringing a trichology service in-house helps salons show commitment to their clients’ hair health. It’s a unique differentiator for salons in a competitive space and will increase client satisfaction, loyalty and positive word-of-mouth referrals.”

Notably, 10% of the Scalp Scope service proceeds go to Cancer Hair Care UK. Furthering this support, Tiffany pledges to provide a complimentary consultation to clients who have lost or are losing their hair due to cancer treatment.

About Tiffany

Tiffany has more than 17 years of hairdressing experience and has witnessed people of all ages suffer from hair loss. She has seen how hair loss, hair thinning and scalp conditions affect people’s confidence, mental health and well-being.

Compelled to learn more about hair and scalp issues and support those struggling, Tiffany undertook training to gain her Trichologist certification and now runs two clinics in London. Tiffany offers consultations, bespoke treatments and plans for those experiencing hair loss and scalp concerns.
