2024 rebrand

New year, new me, right? This sentiment certainly rings true with salon-owner Janene Hawkins-Bush. Getting ready to take on 2024, Janene refreshes the profile of her salon group, bringing her businesses together under one new brand: Suffolk Hair.

Janene owns four salons in the Suffolk area named; Heavenly Hair, Quay Street Collective, Hair & Co. and Hair Affair. Each salon will retain its name, but the over-arching brand of Suffolk Hair will streamline communications and branding for the group.

Janene says: “We love that our salons have different names and individual identities representing their locality and clientele. However, from a business perspective, it was time to update our approach and make it simple for people to find out what we have on offer.

“Suffolk Hair is the umbrella brand under which our salons sit. This name represents the status of our salons in the area and allows for future growth of our group.”

Why the 2024 rebrand?

Bringing each business together provides many benefits for Janene’s salons. It aligns the salon group’s standard of services, sustainability mission, ethos and values. This unites each salon team in a common goal and assures Suffolk Hair customers that they will receive the same high-quality service at whichever salon they visit.

Janene and her team have also updated their website under the new brand name, where clients can easily explore and book appointments at any of the four salons.

Janene says, “One website for all our salons will help to keep us busy and booked. If a customer can’t get the day they want at one salon, it’s a simple click to find another. This way, we are keeping our clientele within the salon group and giving potential new customers a chance to browse each salon and team to find one they like. It also means just one website to manage rather than four.

“It feels great to be entering 2024 with a fresh, cohesive approach to business, and we are excited about the plans we have to continue building on our reputation in the Suffolk area.”

Are you thinking about an expansion plan? Janene has certainly been successful, and she shares advice, here
