Following on from Davines‘ Earth Day celebrations is an awareness-raising project ‘Still we are not there yet’. The project outlines Davines’ path to net zero emissions by 2030.
We are over the moon for Davines and this huge move they are making! They have made a fascinating and captivating video (scroll to the bottom to watch) to encourage you to take action and make a difference in order to restore the natural balance between humans and nature. It doesn’t stop there… The haircare brand has also launched a collective challenge via the AWorld app – the official app selected by the United Nations to support the ActNow campaign against climate change. The goal is to provide practical suggestions on how to help reduce CO2 emissions linked to human activity and incentivise the people involved to become an active part of the process with simple day-to-day actions. And guess what’s even better… Absolutely everyone can participate in the challenge!

Climate action tips for Hairdressers
- UNPLUG YOUR HAIRDRYER WHEN YOU’RE NOT USING IT! Did you know that appliances can consume energy even when they’re turned off? Reduce your daily CO2 emissions with tiny little actions.
- You can reduce CO2 emissions just by lowering the temperature of the water at the shampoo bowl. A few degrees less can make a difference over time!
- CHOOSE ENERGY FROM RENEWABLE SOURCES! Paying attention to your energy bills can have a positive impact. How? Commit to being a conscious consumer and choose energy from renewable sources!
Together, by being part of the ‘Still we are not there yet’ project we can limit global warming up to 1.5° C and save our Planet.
