Have you heard? Pantone’s Colour of the Year for 2024 is Peach Fuzz, a gentle peach tone that captures the desire to nurture ourselves and others. You may already have colour clients requesting this peachy tone for their hair. So, Osmo ambassador Adele Clarke, owner of Spectrum Hair, shares how to get the look.
Peach fuzz with Adele Clarke
Adele: “The Pantone Colour of 2024 is a soft, calming shade that will be a delight to colour technicians wanting to create a soft tone for pre-lightened clients in a healthy, nourishing way. We will be embracing the warmth that we usually think of as the enemy, using it rather than neutralising it away.
To achieve this colour on a level 9 lift, Osmo Porosity Spray should be applied and dried through before using either Osmo Power Lift or Elevation Bleach.
Next, cool Osmo Ikon 9.00 Apricot and Strawberry can all be blended in differing ratios depending on your particular taste and used to tone the hair in the genre of this colour. Some interpretations can even have a cool twist with a small amount of Osmo Ikon Pearl added to soothe away some of any unwanted gold.
To enable our clients to keep their peachy tones topped up between salon visits, we’ll make up a personalised hair mask using the Osmo Colour Revive shades with Café Latte, a touch Intense Copper with a spot of the Wild Pink Colour Psycho to achieve a peachy undertone to the colour conditioning mask.”
It will be interesting to see everyone’s interpretation of Peach Fuzz. If you can, definitely give it a go!
