Nude beauty hit the fashion scene some seasons ago now. We’ve seen make-up artists master the art of a “nude” face. But what about mastering a nude hair colour?
It looks as if the best of COLOR.ME is yet to come…
Almost everything has a natural/nude option from design to furniture, underwear, shoes and clothing. The concept of going nude is not what it used to be. The new NUDES by COLOR.ME is unveiling new ways to undress and explore with natural shades that we have no doubt will become the new must-have hues.
Enter BEIGE.VIOLET reflect.28 – available in four depths and totally unique. Not only does it reflect beige violet tones but has a symphony of hues when mixed with other SHADES or BOOSTERS. So how does beige violet look? The versatility of the new nudes selection allows colourists to achieve a whole range of results; from bronze, blush, pink beige, taupe, oatmeal, right through to deep bronze.
The beige and violet tones in this new hue have the ability to be both warm and cool – adding a natural soft tone to the hair. Based on your canvas and other shades you add to your formula, BEIGE.VIOLET reflect.28 can easily be manipulated to create a warm or cool finish, allowing you to tailor it to all skin tones.
Adapting BEIGE.VIOLET to skin tone
Create natural, blush, oatmeal, taupe and bronze shades. If your desired result is on the cooler side, consider adding in reflects like .81, CLEAR or BOOSTERS like SOFT.VIOLET or BLUE. If you’re working on a warmer canvas, these shades will create counteraction due to the additional warmth, leaving a soft warm or natural reflect in the hair.
For warmer results by tailor your formula with reflects. Yellow, red or orange BOOSTERS will enhance the blush and tangerine, creating a buttery reflect. Bare in mind, if lightening with your new nudes, the colour will end up warmer due to the undertones in addition to beige violet shades.
The best thing about this skin tone is the ability to wear warm or cool colours. If a client has a mix of warm and cool undertones, their preference will take centre stage. Create a custom colour formulation based on the desired end result and what works best with their wardrobe and lifestyle.
KEVIN.MURPHY continues evolving as fashion trends evolve. The brand has always kept an eye on the catwalk and found a way to apply those trends to the salon. The new selection of shades are a continuation of this philosophy; delivering fashion-forward, multi-tonal colour that is extremely wearable and leads the way to glowing self-expression.
