Let’s talk all things KERASILK with Taz Daddi-Addoun. In March Kerasilk relaunched with 100% vegan, more sustainable formulas. One big change was a shift towards the use of biomimetic silk, a vegan, sustainable alternative to traditional animal-derived silk. Since its relaunch KERASILK has been used in salons across the country. But what are stylists and their clients actually saying about its luxury products? We chat to stylist Taz Daddi-Addoun, owner of The Birdcage Hair Salon and KERASILK specialist and educator.
Can you describe KERASILK in three words?
Taz: Luxury, beautiful and strong
KERASILK products are 100% vegan. Do you find clients are increasingly interested in using vegan products?
Taz: Yes, I find clients are increasingly interested in sourcing vegan haircare and more sustainable products and KERASILK ticks all the boxes.
KERASILK is a premium brand. Since The Pandemic have you noticed a shift towards clients opting to use premium products?
Taz: Since the Pandemic I have noticed a huge shift towards clients opting to use premium haircare products, with people wanting to have a salon-professional feel to their hair. The use of at-home hair routines with hair masks and restoring products couldn’t be any more popular. People want to have luxury both in the salon and at home.
