Meet the 2022 Schwarzkopf Young Artistic Team

Schwarzkopf Professional is proud to reveal its Young Artistic Team for 2022. Now in its 26th year, the Schwarzkopf Professional YAT brings together some of the most exciting emerging hairdressing talent from all over the UK and Ireland for a year-long mentoring programme, offering training, education and incredible industry opportunities, designed to nurture and develop the stars of the future.

Open to stylists under the age of 26 who work for a Schwarzkopf Professional salon, this year’s line-up was revealed at the finals at London’s Hunter Collective on Sunday 23rd January, when a shortlist of stylists competed for a place in the final six. The winners impressed judges including Nick Irwin, Ellie Bond and Debbie G with their presentation skills, attention to detail and obvious passion for their craft.

With a packed calendar of activity planned, there was no time to spare and the team’s first day together took place just over a week later on 7th February, at the penthouse studio owned by legendary photographer Rankin. Hosted by new YAT  Mentor (and Rankin’s long-time collaborator) Nick Irwin, the day was the chance for the stylists to get to know each other – and to discover more about the journey that lies ahead of them.

‘We have six young, diverse and passionate individuals who are itching to get started!’ said Nick. ‘For me, it’s as much about the experience as it is what we teach them throughout the year. Holding our intro day at Rankin’s penthouse gave them the chance to experience my world as much as possible so we can create not just career, but life-changing moments.’

The Schwarzkopf Professional Young Artistic Team 2022 are:
