We love to champion education as we know how important it is. That’s why we’re super-excited to celebrate those who achieved the L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Specialist Status in 2023. This January, L’Oréal Professionnel Paris hosted 250 attendees from across the United Kingdom and Ireland in London to celebrate each classmate who completed the course.
What is Colour Specialist?
If you’re unfamiliar with the L’Oréal Professionnel Paris Colour Specialist course, here’s a quick breakdown. Over 15 days, you cover the science of the hair, natural colour pigmentation, consultation, services for white hair, colour corrections, scalp bleaching, balayage and much more. This course is for hairdressers passionate about hair colouring ready to level up their skills.
In 2023, the course received a brand-new look and feel, including an enriched syllabus, extensive practical sessions, a new online footprint, and enhanced learner resources.
With a 27-year history, the L’Oréal Professionnel Paris Colour Specialist programme is an education system you can count on. We hear it’s renowned for a thorough curriculum and a challenging 15-day format. As you may know, the Colour Specialist title is considered prestigious within the industry and signals your proficient technical expertise in colouring. Congratulations to all Colour Specialist’s we say.
Amy Woolner, head of education at L’Oréal Professionnel Paris, says: “Supporting Colour Specialists reach exceptional standards is a privilege. Each graduate has diligently worked to meet these elevated standards, and they should take pride in their achievement.”
Top takeaway for students
You may find this interesting; the top takeaway for graduates is the considerable confidence boost. Students say they finish the course feeling equipped with a comprehensive skill set, the right tools for effective client consultations, and a deep understanding of hair colouring techniques. Subsequently, they feel empowered to tackle all hair colour challenges that walk through the salon door.
Senior colourists and salon owners also echo the impact that a Colour Specialist can have when they bring their knowledge back into the workspace. By sharing their expertise, Colour Specialists play a key role in fostering a culture of excellence within their working environment.
Graduates join over 2,400 alumni and unlock additional benefits through the Colour Specialist Connective Programme, available to qualified Colour Specialists in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.
Amy says, “On behalf of L’Oréal Professionnel Paris, congratulations to the Colour Specialist Class of 2023”.
