Key to salon success with new seminar from The Fantastic Hairdresser

Knowledge is power, and who better to learn from than Alan Austin-Smith, aka The Fantastic Hairdresser, who is set to travel the UK and Ireland hosting one-day seminars. Designed to reveal the winning formula for running a successful salon business, Alan approaches the two key ingredients passion + profit which he insists equals the secret sauce.

Passionate Profit

The seminar entitles Passionate Profit will tour major cities nationwide with the first in Glasgow on May 22 and running all the way until the finale on November 12 in Cambridge.

This essential event will explore the idea that successful businesses cannot thrive on passion alone, but that solely focusing on profit also won’t inspire a team. However, combining the two factors – passion AND profit – creates a ‘secret sauce’ that is the magic ingredient of the most celebrated businesses.

The perfect mix

Passionate Profit will see Alan examine the pitfalls of passion-only businesses and reveal why relying solely on passion can lead to burnout. He’ll also share his insight into the dangers of profit-driven approaches without genuine passion, and how this can affect your team’s motivation and your salon’s long-term success.

The seminar will include priceless advice on how to successfully merge the two elements to strike the perfect harmony between passion AND profit, creating a salon that not only thrives financially, but one that is also a fulfilling and inspiring workspace.

“A business needs to be profitable enough to do two things,” says Alan. “Reinvest in the business, as well as benefit the owner. If the business isn’t profitable enough to do both, then there is either no re-investment in the team, the business, the marketing and training, or there is nothing left for the owner of the business, leading to tiredness, stress and a lack of balance, whilst wondering why on earth they are doing this! Something needs to change – and my seminar is designed to teach how to achieve this.”

Floomly

The tour is sponsored by Floomly. This exciting new salon software is taking salons by storm with its results-focused salon software package, with 30 years of hairdressing knowledge integrated at every flume-like twist and turn.

“The partnership with Floomly is a natural pairing, reflecting the built-in coaching service offered as standard by the ground-breaking software – the product of 30 years knowledge, experience and expertise.
