Headmasters has championed confidence boosting hair on the high street for the last 38 years. So for 2020 the salon brand wanted to create a hair collection that reflected this, by creating an image that was less based in idealisation and more firmly planted in reality. Centered on a theme of empowerment and showcasing ambitious, confident, successful women Headmasters collaborated with RED Magazine to find four inspirational women, Maude Hirst, Celia Pool, Meera Innes, and Ravinder Bhogal, to front the Headmasters 2020 campaign ‘Real, Women, Real Confidence, Real Hair.’ Such a fantastic concept.
Express yourself
Asked to express themselves through their hair, the women chose beautiful balayage, micro-bobs and long maxi lengths that lend easily to waves or own-the-room blowouts. Throughout 2020 Headmasters will support and promote the businesses of its campaign women both in the salon, with clients and within their businesses, through a series of bespoke promotions, partnerships, competitions and collaborations.
Headmasters Creative Director Andrew Barton says: “Confidence Boosting Hair has been our mantra at Headmasters long before it became fashionable. It is at the very core of what we do every day for every client. This campaign was really special to us as it brought our mantra to life. Real is beautiful and we really believe this campaign showcases aspirational, entrepreneurial confident women in a really positive, relatable way. I truly believe confidence starts with great hair.”
