HairClub Live arrives in Manchester

The crowd went wild last night (Monday) in Manchester where HairClub Live descended on the city for a night of talent, fun and fabulous hair at #OpenChairNight, courtesy of sponsors Revlon Professional.

Following buzzing evenings in both Glasgow and London, HCL teamed up with the fashion-forward brand yet again to give stylists a chance to showcase their skills with 10-minute slots on stage at edgy Northern-Quarter venue Band on the Wall.

#DareTheChair

Barber Loll Perkins braved the chair first with a sharp men’s look to rapturous applause, followed by Casper Finch, who travelled from London to bring a fresh layered 70’s vibe to the stage.

Next up Andi Pearce blew the audience away with his intricate space-age up-do, while dynamic duo Naomi Brooks and O’Cian Griffiths flew the flag for afro hair, with two stunning styles. Huge shout out to O’Cian who’s only been hairdressing for three months!

Annie Franklin sparkled next, adorning her tightly swept-back, fishtail plait with gold flecks. Then it was time for Stacey Wright and her structured afro design, complete with coloured wig pieces intricately sprinkled along the parting – so chic!

Megan Turner followed, facing her stage fears to create stunningly effortless curls on her blonde model, with intricate gems placed to one-side of her head, before Liv, of Livs Barbering, closed the show, demonstrating some serious razor skills.

As always it was a tough job chosing the best looks, so it was left up to HCL presenter Alfie James and co-host, Revlon Professional’s Karen to pick their favourites. Meet the winners…
