Somber Collection

James Forte at Guy Christian salon in Cardiff has worked super hard for a place at the creative ‘table’! From entering competitions to working with mentor Brandon Messinger and other leading hairdressing, to now releasing a solo collection called Somber Collection. This puts him in the Newcomer of the Year category at the British Hairdressing Awards 2023. Bravo!

James worked with Desmond Murray to create this collection which is describes as Inspired by the dark side.

“This evocative collection plays with texture, shadowand silhouette to deliver sensuous styles with gothic overtones. The mood isirreverent, liberated yet slightly sinister. These classic shapes have beenpushed progressively out of their comfort zones and twisted into acontemporary narrative that delivers for the modern day. Soft textures embraceprecision techniques with the hair braided, manipulated and styled into fashionforward looks that push the boundaries of current trends.” James Forte
