The latest dynamic move from Spectrum One Hair Extensions has been to welcome stylists from across the industry to an education masterclass. Hot stuff! Here the brand delivered an inspiring day of advanced cutting, colour, styling and content creation led by renowned educators Elliot Caffrey and Debbie McGlade at S.H Hair.
Elliot Caffrey
Ambassador, Elliot Caffrey, demonstrated his signature Flat Track method, taking attendees through his approach to placement, layering and styling to create natural-looking movement and flawless finishes.
Working on model Julie using Spectrum One’s Frost and Creamed Ash shades, Elliot showcased how strategic placement, soft layers and natural texture combine to produce his signature bouncy, flicked finish using straighteners. Throughout the session, he explained the techniques behind achieving effortless movement while maintaining an undetectable blend.
A second live demonstration featured model Darcy. Here Elliot combined Dark Secret, Hazelnut Swirl and Midnight Brown to illustrate how blending multiple shades creates bespoke, completely seamless colour results. Alongside his cutting and styling techniques, Elliot shared valuable insight into building a successful social media presence, covering everything from photography techniques and finding the most flattering angles to capturing high-quality imagery that helps stylists showcase their work and attract new clients.
Debbie McGlade
Working on model Jude, Debbie used Spectrum One Genius Weft extensions in Ash Bronde, Bleach Blonde, Hazel and Vanilla to create a beautifully blended result that required only minimal cutting to refine the final shape. She highlighted the importance of selecting complementary shades from the outset, demonstrating how thoughtful colour placement makes seamless blending significantly easier.
A second demonstration featured Courtney wearing 20-inch Spectrum One Genius Wefts in Champagne and Cookies & Cream. Debbie created a soft, dimensional blonde finish that blended effortlessly with the model’s natural hair, showcasing the versatility and premium quality of the extension range.
The blow-dry
The session also explored Debbie’s signature blow-drying techniques, with attendees learning how she layers her preferred Original & Mineral products to build volume, enhance shine and maximise longevity without sacrificing movement. Using Hair Made Easi 32mm brushes, Debbie demonstrated how precise sectioning, tension and brush angles are key to achieving polished, bouncy blowdries with exceptional movement and a luxury salon finish.
