Earlier this week we saw Danny Pato present the Nomad Queens collection on stage in Berlin. The concept of the collection is about the beauty of different cultures and nationalities coming together in one room – the happy place it becomes. On stage Danny presented a tutorial to his avant garde looks, allowing those in the audience to understand the styling, techniques used and even offer them the inspiration they may ave needed to explore more avant garde styling.
Inspiration
“Theirs is an experiential reign, a life moving through cultures, living through the world rather than removed from it. They’ve displaced war and the power-hungry people who had ruled through cruelty and fear. They now rule the world together, uniting their peoples through feminine power, wisdom, and divinity.”
Hair was inspired by a broad collection of cultural references: the lucky plant, a sunset, a peacock, a porcupine, coral, and the Pushkar Fair from Central India each served as specific inspiration for each shot.
