Dipping into the shows this weekend, we love how much emphasis there is on the hair for this London Fashion Week. Official hair sponsor Toni&Guy has a crack team setting the bar super-high.
Celebrating 16 years of LFW (they’re doing 12 shows in total) the session styling is on fire. Look at these gorgeous, sleek buns (above and below) from international art director Cos Sakkas and his posse for Paul Costelloe – just so clever and utterly right for the exaggerated shoulders on the clothes.
The crazy but again hair-centric looks for Linus Leonarsson (below) were created by Toni&Guy Academy educator Elle Page. So much to love in her 60s inspired big hair looks. Modern but retro but amazing!
and this!
And also on our list of the favourite Toni&Guy shows (they did 12 in total), the looks for Sabirah by Deborah Latouche. Here artistic director, Efi Davies gave us long, graceful, extended braids that were a clever move to show that Afro hair can be more than corn-rows! See these:
London Fashion Week entirely online… who’d have thought it? But we do love the way it makes all the shows so accessible.
