Having his moment – and deservedly after so many years of putting in on the show, education and awards circuit – Robert Masciave is hitting the headlines partout. Owner of Metropolis Hairdressing in Kingston upon Thames, Robert has long been our radar for challenging, avant-garde imagery (often working with partner Ceri Cushen on strong colour), and but for 2018 has showcased a more commercial, editorial style. In the past couple of weeks he’s scooped Southern British Hairdresser of the Year 2018 and Fellowship Image of the Year, and we’re delighted for him and photographer Robert Aguilar.
