Easy does it! The clients are coming back, but they’ll need plenty of reassurance and perhaps coaxing into trying new styles. The mood of the moment is to concentrate on health and well-being – of body and hair naturally! Here’s a neat set of pictures from hairdresser Jesus de Paula that could give you inspo?
Paris 1982
The name is random; simply reflecting Jesus saying Paris is his favourite city, and 1982 the year of his birth (style it out Jesus!). But you can put a more poetic spin on the story: Paris in the early 80s was burlesque by night, but muted, perhaps more considered by day as the stage-make-up was wiped away. What Jesus gives us is simple, feminine, commercial looks. Little artifice. Seeking a reconnection to normality? Ah! There’s the meaning.
