Hey Haywards Heath!

We are over the moon to see Samuel Chapman open his second hair salon in the heart of Haywards Heath; specialising in colour, hair loss and beautiful, wearable hair. Since opening his first salon on the coast of Brighton & Hove, we have seen Samuel’s business go from strength to strength (extra fabulous news in a post-pandemic world).

Beautifully decorated for an all-out celebration, the doors opened last week to welcome local residents, businesses and influencers. Upon arrival guests were welcomed with a glass of bubbly and got the chance to meet the team and explore the beautiful new setting. Whilst visiting they were given the opportunity to receive a complimentary consultation, a skin test for future colour appointments and a free goody bag full of Pureology hair products.

The salon

The Haywards Heath salon is made up of 8 stations which are divided up with shelving to create a more intimate and personal experience. Lockdown has changed the way we live and work, with many clients looking for a more versatile salon experience. Samuel wanted to create a space that allows the customer to take their time; Consultations are all held in the ‘living room’ area to allow clients to relax with a drink, this area is also used for colour clients when colour is developing. The wash basins are also kept separate from the main area of the salon and decorated to evoke a warm, sunny feeling and fragranced with a unwind, relaxing room diffuser.

The calming atmosphere allows clients to relax, have some “me time” and use the space to their full advantage. Whether they want to read a book, catch up on some work or simply take in the breath-taking scenery.

Samuel says

I feel very proud that I am able to create new opportunities for our team members. The new salon gives the team the chance to really grow and achieve their goals within their careers. Reopening after COVID has been difficult for so many businesses and I wanted our team to be reassured that not only that their jobs were safe but that they were able to develop and build their hairdressing careers at Samuel Chapman Salon.

Congratulations to Samuel and the team – it really does give us a warm feeling to see someone’s dream become a reality.
