Inspiration
The social media revolution began before the pandemic, however it has been a historical moment that has perpetuated a new way of seeing the world. The entire planet united by social media allowing us to be even more globalized. Trends, ways of life, and styles are shared, copied, imitated, and invade us. The mix of cultures, sexes, and thoughts are now the maximum exponent of everything we see.
Loving oneself, looking for the individuality of people, and empowering it, displacing the beauty prototypes established in previous decades and that crushed us with something we could never be. All this type of thinking is what prevails right now in visual culture. This has led to the creation of images of great aesthetic impact. Anything goes is imposed as a fashionable routine, creating unusual combinations, asymmetries, an explosion of colors, stylistic neo-baroque, and endless voices that are yet to come. There are also no prototypes to follow. Everyone can be and succeed in social media. That is reflected in disparate colors, braids, and volumes in the trends.
