We are heading into the weekend with some fantastic news to share from the team at F&M Hairdressing. They have just won a national award; their second one in 2021 already! What a great way to start the year, isn’t it?
The Scottish Enterprise Awards (SME) look at businesses in Scotland and their successes and contributions to the local community, both economically and personally. The awards have now been running for a number of years and are very highly viewed within the business world. With the original ceremony unable to go ahead due to current restrictions, the awards were unveiled online, with all winners being announced on the SME portal on Wednesday evening. And F&M was announced as the winner of Best Local Salon 2020 – Renfrewshire.
F&M Hairdressing are a known name to the awards, having successfully won the Local Salon category before. Winning the Best Local Salon award after recent lockdown events was no walk in the park though; competition was high as they were up against some of the region’s most well-known salons.
Salon owner and director, Brian MacMillan commented: “I am delighted that we won this award, it really is a huge honour having been nominated by those in our local area. To be recognised for our hard work, passion and community spirit means the world to us. This had given us a positive start to 2021.”
Something positive for 2021 indeed – congrats, guys!
