Hairdresser and social media queen, Aliona Davy, recently joined boutique hair brand, Indola, in their home city of Hamburg, for the launch of their #colorblaster range of temporary colour conditioners.
Aliona, as well as Russian colourist Denis Shefel, were flown out to the Indola Trend Lab in Germany – their studio for digital shoots and live streaming – to get hands on with the #colorblasted products and create their own colourful looks on four international bloggers; Ophélie Van Wijde from the Netherlands, Lucia Avendaño from Spain, Alina Keller from Latia and Nastja from Germany.
“Indola is such a lovely brand with a fresh, unique and fun personality behind its whole concept,” says Aliona. “It definitely stands out from the rest and I’m super excited to be a part of this project.”
The #colorblaster range of colours consists of eight Instagram-inspired shades of pigmented conditioners, which create temporary tints and tones while adding serious shine and deep conditioning to the hair. “They’re fun and can be adjusted to one’s personality and style,” says Aliona. “Oh, and most importantly they wash out too – which means absolutely zero commitment and room for more experiments ahead.” As for her favourite shade? “Willow – it’s pastel pink!” Perfect for creating looks that rack up likes on Instagram.
During their trip to Hamburg, Aliona and Denis created a series of looks, as well as sharing the love for #colorblasted on social media with live stream step-by-steps and Q&As. “I got to film a very amazing #getcolorblasted campaign with Indola and style some mega cool influencers from different parts of the world. I think me and Denis (@shefeldenis) made a lovely hair team too and I can’t thank the Indola girls enough for being so nice and creative to work with.”
Create and share your own Instagram-inspired colours on social media to be in with a chance of winning a trip to the next Indola #StreetStyleCollection shoot – just tag your images with #getcolorblasted and #simplysmarter to enter.
Check out all of the behind the scenes action, as well as what Aliona got up to at @alionawithlove (saved in highlights too, of course) as well as at @indolauk.
