Philipp Haug at LFW SS24

Edeline Lee Spring Summer 2024 (c) Eva K Salvi - Look 08 London Fashion Week

Fashion Week gives us a lot of inspiration and creativity which you can take back to the salon and share with clients. Who doesn’t love a bit of runway glam hair? For ss24 Philipp Haug, co-owner of Haug London Haus, created some killer looks with Schwarzkopf Professional. Read on if you want a breakdown of two London Fashion Week looks which you can recreate yourself.

Philipp says, “This fashion week season has been sensational. It’s been incredible working with Schwarzkopf Professional who supported us with an amazing backstage team and incredible products too. I felt lucky to be able to use all my favourite products we use in the salon backstage on all different textures.”

Malan Breton SS24

For the hair looks at Malan Breton SS24 Philipp went bold. Malan Breton clothing is strong and powerful, and Philipp translated this into the hair. Taking inspiration from Madonna and the 90’s, Philipp and the hair team created a look of two parts. The front, top section was slicked off the face into a high, modern ponytail. The rest of the hair look was kept feminine, with a lot of dramatic volume. This could be a fabulous style to recreate for clients who are going out.

Key Products

Key Schwarzkopf Professional products Philipp and the team used include Session Label The Mousse and The Texturiser. These were used on the roots to allow grip and hold when backcombing. Then OSiS+ Elastic hairspray was used for finish and hold.

The hair looks for Edeline Lee were certainly something to see. Philipp and the team created graphic-looking styles with lots of texture. The root area had a wet texture which flowed into cool, natural, undone texture through the ends. All hair was pulled back off the face and, like the makeup, was kept simple to not distract from the clothing.

Philipp and the team layered Schwarzkopf Professional OSiS+ Freeze Pump on the roots for a strong, wet look. The rest of the hair was left natural with a lot of moveable texture.

OSiS

A little detail was added in the back of the hair, with a small ponytail created using the top section of the hair that was rolled together and secured. To finish the look the Schwarzkopf Professional OSiS+ Elastic hairspray was used through the ends.

We look forward to seeing what styles you recreate in the salon using Fashion Week inspo.
