Casting a backward glance is very comforting in times of great uncertainty. With a retro look, we can find out where we are and make better sense of where we’re going! So, we love this new collection- titled MELOD-rocking- from Australian salon Stevie English Hair.
Inspiration for MELOD-rocking
The MELOD-rocking collection draws inspo from the 60s to current times, showing the expression of personality with hair and fashion as a complete look.
Renowned Australian educator Bernadette Beswick and award-winning colourist Steve Corthine of Stevie English Hair collaborated to form a collection that was ‘at odds’. ”We wanted cold colours with soft lines. The idea was to be commercial but create something that hairdressers love at the same time. We often see beautiful shapes but with natural colour so our goal was to create beautiful shapes with unnatural colour” they say.
