Haringtons expands  

Keep your eye out for exciting news from Haringtons salons as the group continues to expand and invest across the UK. The latest update is the rebrand of an Amersham salon, Gatsby & Miller, acquired by Haringtons in 2022. After careful updating and refurbishment, this site will now officially fall within the group’s award-winning portfolio. This is a story to inspire your business soul.

Haringtons expands

With the rebrand in Amersham, Haringtons is extending into a new local area in Hertfordshire, continuing to build boutique salon experiences centred on high-street locations. The acquisition marks a memorable year for the salon group as it will also celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2024. An impressive feat, happy birthday Haringtons.   

Haringtons founder Robert Smith says: “Gatsby & Miller are known for their approach to delivering an exceptional experience that goes beyond the haircut. With a sharp focus on style, quality and the highest standards of customer care, we felt our joint visions were perfectly aligned with where we see the future of our industry. 

“We’ve been successfully operating in this location since 2022, and now we see the full, refreshed Haringtons brand taking centre stage. This expansion allows us to continue offering the ultimate experience for hair that our customers already know and love.”  

Much like Haringtons, Gatsby & Miller has been well-recognised and awarded across the industry. Wins include Best Salon Experience, Male Grooming Salon of the Year and Customer Service.   

Amersham salon manager Shani Hodge says, “There is so much to be celebrated about our like-minds coming together. There’s been a great spirit of collaboration since we joined forces with Haringtons, and this January marks the next chapter in our continued success. Clients have always been – and will continue to be – at the heart of everything we do.”  

Haringtons is a prolific salon group in the South of England keen to provide confidence to its clients. It has recently invested heavily across all business areas, including its apprenticeship training scheme and development programme.

In 2020, Haringtons group underwent a brand transformation, including refurbishing all locations, developing a new strategic direction, and introducing a new creative team, now led by creative director Richard Scorer. The acquisition of Gatsby & Miller forms part of the group’s ongoing strategy to expand its salon portfolio and support business growth.
