Making a huge noise backstage at NYFW, ANTI Collective collaborated with emerging designer Liam Hodges, followed by Kaimin and LRS, resulting in three amazing shows for SS20.

Hair Director, Pablo Kuemin produced bespoke wigs to fit each boy in a show awash with schoolboy charm. The idea was that each model reflected the diversity of the screen printing and tie-dyeing effects that gave the collection a punk edge.
Tearing up the classics for this soft-edged, yet statement collection, hair had to be unique and individually curated. Serving up some serious outfit inspiration, designer Liam Hodges mastered laid back shirts and loose fabrics set to become casual go-to’s – think acid wash, bright colours and baggy cargos.
“The show’s directive was to blend primitive futurism with cyber-punk to translate the works of David Cronenberg and Aldous Huxley as references but really speaking to the now,” said ANTI Global Creative Director, Nick Irwin.
Liam also collaborated with his friend, artist Alfie Kungu, on colourful, abstract patterns for the collection. These included swirls of brown, black and olive spilling onto oversize grandpa cardigans and baggy trousers, or geometric colour blocks splashed on military jackets. No one model looked alike, hallmarks of the ANTI brand that’s driven by the need for individuality.
