Congratulations to Aesthetics Hair Salons, which has just opened a stunning new salon set in the Warwickshire market town of Henley-in-Arden. This new space is now set to be their flagship salon with the group’s second salon located in Solihull. It has been an incredible transformation as the building is Grade ll listed meaning it had to be reimagined to retain all that it was and introduce all that it can be.
Home from home
With two open fires, one courtyard garden, an abundance of natural light and space to work, read and just be, Aesthetics’ newest salon has been designed with the client’s time in mind. Wabi-Sabi was the essence of the new salon, director Sarah Bowron loved the aesthetic concept of beauty through imperfection and longevity and wanted a space that embraced this but also presented the opportunity to reflect, enjoy, relax and find inspiration.
Sarah Bowron reveals
“The Salon that Pinterest built,” says Sarah. “As a diehard trawler of design, I already knew what I wanted and the materials I wished to use, but I needed visuals to get my concept across. Pinterest was invaluable for that. Concrete, antique brass sheeting, wood, light, open fire places – oh and a garden, complete with swing, filled my Pinterest board. As the building was Grade II listed, we needed an architect to draw up plans and help us navigate heritage and planning consensus.”
Sarah adds: “We are sensitive to time being a precious commodity for us all and so we have designed our Henley-In-Arden salon to work around our client’s needs. All stations have integrated sockets and chargers and we welcome all manner of friends and family including all your furry friends. We have dog treats on demand! Every zone of the salon is special in its own right and I genuinely love each one for different reasons, depending on my mood. I want our salon to feel like an extension of your home for anyone and everyone that graces it.”
