The Colour World journey

The team discuss what they wanted to create for hairdressing, and refer to a quote from hairdresser and colourist Carolyn Newman on why it was so timely. Nicky explains how the Colour World event is anti-zoo, immersive and 100% dedicated to colourists. Independent and dynamic, this has become an unmissable event on the hairdressing calendar. Her colleagues Ellie and Renee share their insight into why 2,000 people each year gather to celebrate the Colour World experience. The producers of Colour World know the key is in making it dedicated to colourists only!

Brands and presenters gather

From innovative brand launches for the likes of Olaplex, Blonde Solutions and yuv Beauty, there is always a lot to discover. Nicky, Ellie and Renee recall key moments in the development of Colour World into an event with an excellent reputation. Podcast producer Alfie James also works on production at the Colour World event and adds in his view, too!

As well as larger companies, many independent colourists attend to take time in the Colour Shairs to show off what they can do. The conversation reminds us that colour titans love the event, too.  From Larissa Love, Sophia Hilton and Jack Howard to Conor Doyle, Trevor Sorbie and John Paul de Joria, you always have big personalities to catch up with. You can see so many different techniques and be inspired by the best in the industry.
