Kent Salon Bristle

The right brush for your client’s hair can work wonders, as well improving its general health. The Kent Salon Bristle is here to prove exactly this: the importance of right brushing.

Why brush?

Brushing is not just a styling thing; it cleans and massages the scalp and stimulates the release of the beneficial oil sebum. Sebum is released by the sebaceous gland at the base of the hair follicle as a result of the gentle hair tugging action caused by brushing. Brushing distributes the sebum, coating, lubricating and protecting the hair shaft resulting in healthy sheen and soft hair. Finally, the scalp is left clean as the brush removes trapped dirt, dust and oils. Vital, right?

Why Bristle?

Each individual hand-trimmed Kent Salon bristle is of slightly different length creating an uneven surface to the brush; this enables the bristles to penetrate the hair perfectly and reach deep down to the scalp. Extremely effective for cleaning the hair shaft, follicle and scalp, and distributing sebum along the hair shaft!  The action of the bristle smooths the hair in the same direction leaving them shiny and silky looking. Dream!

Using a brush like Kent Salon’s Curved Vent styling brush KS02 makes blow drying and straightening long hair a walk in the park! No pulling needed. With its moulded head featuring 50 flexible pins in a curved and vented chassis, this is the only brush of its type in the world. The addition of the ten rows of natural bristle to smooth, clean and add shine make it ideal for blow-drying, volumising and grooming.
