The Cardiff community is at the heart of the Ken Picton salon – from its sponsorship of local sports teams and ongoing support for BAFTA Cymru to the collaborations with small businesses to provide tasty treats for the salon’s Sunday Club. We caught up with team Ken Picton to see what they’ve been up to during lockdown as part of #WorksForUs.

Community spiritAs the world continues to navigate its way through the Coronavirus crisis, team Ken Picton is extending its community spirit to give back to those who are doing the most for us all at the moment – the NHS frontliners and key workers who are keeping the country running, safe and healthy.
The salon is giving away a full pampering makeover to one lucky recipient, via a social media giveaway. They are asking followers to nominate an NHS or key worker who is deserving of some TLC, with one winner being rewarded with a luxurious pamper at the salon once things are back up and running. Lush!

To show support to their existing clients and community, team Ken Picton is also giving away two £50 vouchers to a follower and a friend – to put towards their own pampering session.
Salon owner Ken Picton says: “These are testing times for us all, and no-one is doing more for the community than the NHS frontline staff and key workers who are out there every day keeping Cardiff running. As a salon, we pride ourselves on our close-knit relationship with our clients and know that we have many members of the community still working hard. The least we can do to say thank you is offer a full on pampering session once we’re back open. We also want to say thank you to our loyal clients for staying supportive and connected during lockdown, which is why we’re also offering two £50 vouchers to someone who can’t wait to be back in the salon.”
