The Heritage Collection

To celebrate its golden 50th anniversary, Balmain Paris will introduce The Heritage Collection Hair Perfumes crafted by award-winning perfumer Cécile Zarokian. Balmain crafted these three fragrances to elevate the hair’s natural allure, delivering a long-lasting and captivating scent. Oh, la la.

Balmain developed the Heritage Collection using premium ingredients. Say goodbye to heavy, sticky sprays; Balmain hair perfumes are non-greasy and suitable for all hair types. Most importantly, the Balmain Hair Fragrances will help give your client’s hair a soft, healthy finish. Natural ingredients, including silk protein and argan elixir, offer many benefits, meaning your client’s hair can look, feel, and smell good.

Balmain predicts that hair perfumes will be the next big trend in beauty…what do you think?

The Heritage Collection

Ginger 1974

Ginger 1974 blends ginger, fir balsam, gourmand notes, soft suede and clean white musk. It will leave hair smelling warm, indulgent, and irresistible.

Inspiration

The Ginger 1974 scent represents the classic Balmain silhouette, which is elegant, structured and sexy. The perfume blends juicy bergamot, sharp ginger, soft leathery suede and fir balsam. It should remind you of sticky pine sap, dry oakmoss, and soft white musks. This scent has a strong character, recommend it to clients who want to be noticed.

Inspiration

Cardamom 1974 is a powerful fragrance. Balmain says this scent will make you feel strong, the way you feel when wearing a Balmain blazer. Although notes in this scent are sophisticated (rose, patchouli, cardamom and vanilla) it remains accessible to all noses thanks to joyful citruses (bergamot, lemon) and sweet fruity notes (blackcurrant, gourmand).

Cardamom 1974 is unisex yet slightly feminine due to the substantial amount of vanilla, fruitiness and sweetness.

Fragrance composition

  • Top notes: Black pepper, cardamom oil, bergamot, lemon oil, green notes
  • Heart notes: Vanilla, rose, blackcurrant, floral, patchouili
