Project Extend 2023

The Fellowship’s exciting opportunities also include Project Teams

Applications for the 2024 Fellowship Project Teams are also now open…ideal if you are looking for an educational opportunity. To apply for a project team you must be a Fellowship member. Take this chance to level-up your skill set and connect with others.

Project Teams include:

Project Colour: This annual programme brings colourists together for a year of hair artistry. The industry’s world-renowned colourists share their unique colour application techniques, creativity, art direction on photoshoots and vision. The Fellowship says you will improve your knowledge and skills and become the best you can be.

Project Men & Media: This education is perfect for hairdressers and barbers looking to develop their skills in the ever-growing men’s grooming market. This year project leaders Simon Shaw and Alan Beak will help you present and build the media side of your business. This is your chance to network with 2 of the biggest names in the industry.

Project X: Described as the finishing school for hair, The Fellowship aims this project team at qualified hairdressers who want to add finesse, knowledge and creativity to their portfolio. Team members will spend time with some of the most inspiring mentors in the industry to take their skills to another level, including stage-time and photoshoots.

Project Extend: The ultimate finishing school for extensionists who want to develop their skills in several attachment methods and expand their creativity on stage and in print.

Project Afro: This project is for anyone who wants to understand and learn the complexities of textured hair. Mentor demonstrations from professionals who share knowledge and technical skills will be held. There will also be guest talks from award-winning Industry trail blazers…exciting stuff.

Project Sassoon: The Fellowship says this project team will help you gain skills in technical excellence, precision-cutting and perfect colour-placement. You will have the chance to work alongside the Sassoon team, allowing you to absorb their knowledge and learn their techniques. There will also be demos where the participants are encouraged to participate actively and guided work sessions on live models.

In addition to educational and inspirational Project Team Days with team leaders and mentors, all Project teams will be involved in helping to create annual Fellowship collections. This is a fantastic opportunity for all involved to develop their creativity, push their boundaries and be involved in something new and exciting. They will also receive PR and get access to many of the Fellowship’s events.

Entrants must submit 3 digital images of their work and a two-minute video sharing information about them as a person and why they wish to be on the team. Entries close on 13th November, and Teams will be announced on 27th November.
