Calling all rising stars…and well-established names looking to impress and inspire. The Big One 2023 competition is here. For those who don’t know, The Big One is a leading hairdressing competition presented by Tribu-te Magazine. Over seven categories, the prestige media title recognised and honours the best in the industry. The ‘big ones’ in fact! Finalists will be invited to the fabulous live show, Hair Pieces, on Monday 13th November at Battersea Arts Centre, London. Bring your creativity and passion to the stage and show off those crazy skills you’ve nurtured all year.
So, what are the details?
The Big One is open to all hairdressers based in the UK or British hairdressers (UK passport-holders) living outside the UK. Alongside the editors of Tribu-te Magazine in France, the UK, and Belgium, a panel of leading industry professionals will judge the entries. Enter yourself or encourage team-members to enter for a wonderful chance to connect with other hairdressers and get your name out there.
The Big One 2023 has 7 categories:
- The Up & Coming One: For hairdressers under the age of 30
- The Experimental One: Technical wizardry and avant-garde looks
- The One for your Client: The most beautiful, commercial looks
- The One for Colour: The best, most well-presented colour
- The Design One: A salon design from the past three years
- The Afro One: Must be created on Afro texture hair
