With spring on the horizon, it’s time to start filling the diary with a few outdoor plans. If you enjoy a bit of sport, the Tennis Tournament 2026 organised by Hair & Beauty Charity is worth popping in the calendar.
The charity, which provides financial support to professionals in the hair and beauty industry during difficult times, has long been a safety net for colleagues facing unexpected challenges from illness to sudden financial hardship. This spring, the charity is hosting a tennis tournament on Monday 11 May at Weybridge Lawn Tennis Club in Surrey. They’re bringing hair and beauty professionals of all abilities together for a friendly competition whilst raising funds to support its ongoing work with professionals and their families.
You can book your place for £25 per player, which includes a picnic lunch by event sponsor Salon Vision Ltd. Beyond the competition, the day offers a relaxed setting to network, reconnect with familiar faces and meet new industry peers in a supportive and informal environment.
Players will compete in an American-style format across five clay courts. Don’t stress if you’re a seasoned server or a novice player — a mixed-ability format ensures everyone gets a fair game.
The President of the Hair & Beauty Charity, Jayne Lewis-Orr, said: “Our Tennis Tournament is about bringing people together for a really enjoyable day. Events like this allow us to connect as an industry while raising much-needed funds to support colleagues who are going through difficult times. For a small entry fee, you get a brilliant day out and the chance to make a real difference”.
If it sounds like your sort of thing, we encourage you to secure your place. It promises sunshine, sport and the chance to catch up with industry friends all for a brilliant cause.
