This summer, Denman gave one lucky UK student the chance of a lifetime: assisting award-winning session stylist Josh Woodman on the Denman 2026 Campaign Shoot.
Group Marketing Manager Frances Courtney explained, “We are always looking for ways to support the student community; Josh is an amazing hairdresser and was so happy to invite a student to join his team for the shoot. We wanted to give one student the chance to experience photographic work and we were amazed by the number of applications we received.”
The successful applicant was Sinead Bishop, an NVQ Level 3 graduate from Solihull College. On the day, Sinead quickly proved her skills—not only learning from Josh but making a valuable contribution to the shoot. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes, prepping and assisting, and even had the chance to create her own look for a model. That look was captured by photographer Liam Oakes and transformed into a stunning final campaign image.
Although the official campaign launches next year, the experience itself was an instant reward for Sinead. She reflected, “I had an incredible day and I learned so much. I just soaked it all up and I loved every second. I am so happy that I applied!”
By opening doors like this, Denman continues to support the next generation of hair professionals, helping talented students like Sinead gain invaluable experience and confidence as they take their first steps into the industry.
