Have you ever worked backstage at Fashion Week and ogled over a product, tool or accessory belonging to an international artist that you need in your life? Or perhaps you’re a salon stylist who has dreamed up a clip, electrical or pin, but are yet to find it out there? For years this was session stylist Anna Chapman, until she set up Session Kit, an online boutique shop, selling styling hair essentials from across the globe. Everything is tried and tested by Anna and her team of hair gurus, with only what’s deemed the creme de la creme making it onto the site.
Kit for a king
The idea for Session Kit was born after Anna, who has assisted the likes of session king Sam McKnight, found herself crawling around on the floor backstage picking up Japanese hair pins. After tracking down the distributor in Japan, Anna convinced them to send her a bulk box of pins. “They’re amazing and like nothing else I’ve ever used before, I just knew I needed to get my hands on them. Once they arrived, everyone was asking me if they could have a box and Session Kit has grown from there.”
Anna adds: “With London’s reputation as a leading city of fashion and beauty, it’s essential that our talent has easy access and an insight into the best tools of the trade. What we stock at Session Kit is a very personalised edit of ‘must haves.’ We provide products to many International session stylists. They are loved items that any professional simply can’t live without!”
To help spread the word to salon stylists, we’ve teamed up with Session Kit to offer 10% off all orders over £20. All you need to do is quote RespectForHair at the checkout! Worth a look huh? Click HERE.
