Congratulations to Schwarzkopf Professional’s 2018 Young Artistic Team who have completed their fabulous year shooting a collection with Gary Hooker and Michael Young.
From the moment the team arrived at London’s Iris Studio, we hear the Young Artistic Team were hands on, bringing their looks to life with everyone eager to get stuck in.
The brief for the shoot was ‘District 6’ with Michael saying: “The vibe for this shoot is very eclectic cool. Each model represents a girl from a different district meaning they are all individual and have their own style. We shot the models both inside and outside on location to reflect the theme of the shoot.”
The inspiration
The theme for the collection was decided during a planning day in preparation for the shoot with Gary and Michael. Here the team created mood boards of looks and styles they liked, giving them all a clear vision of how they wanted to style their models.
The team were ecstatic to be working closely with Michael and Gary with Hannah McGrath from 77 The Hill saying: “Gary and Michael are such lovely people, not only can you have a laugh with them but they but have an amazing eye and such great talent. I learnt so much from them, particularly to enjoy everything you do, never stress and to always believe in yourself. The best part of the shoot for me was being able to take the models out onto the real streets of London and shoot out there as well as in the studio.”
