The most simple message we can deliver to our Government comes in a single letter. Let’s all send our local MP a letter asking nicely for a Cut in VAT to 5% … just like hospitality enjoys. Ask them to listen to you. If enough of us to it, together we can achieve something. When salons reopen, for every £100 in takings, a cut of VAT to 5% makes £12 difference. That’s going to help you rebuild your business faster than any other economic mechanism.
