READY TO WEAR HAIRDRESSING launches in February 2021

We can’t wait for 2021’s new launches, as we are leaving such a difficult year behind… One of the most anticipating ones is the launch of READY TO WEAR HAIRDRESSING in February 2021. A unique trend-led platform and creative hub created by hairdresser Maria Kovacs and makeup artist Amy Barrington-Long.

Born out of passion

Maria Kovacs

With their combined passion for hair, fashion, makeup and education, and, having worked with many brilliant, big personality hairdressers, Maria and Amy have a special insight into the world of professional hairdressing. Their new venture sees them in a Central London location where students won’t only get an insight into the world of session styling and makeup, but will also see for themselves how a photo session is organized from casting to completion.

A new education platform

Amy Barrington-Long

By using their experience in hairdressing education, fashion shows, editorial shoots and hair collections, Maria and Amy have pooled their ideas to develop bespoke, conceptual, trend-based courses giving an exceptional insight into the evolution of new trends. This new platform uses the principle of ‘look and learn’ sessions, with small groups of students to ensure maximum personal attention. And, mindful of today’s world; education will also be available on a 1-1 basis and via Zoom.

The objective of READY TO WEAR HAIRDRESSING is to provide a great experience, guaranteed to improve every student’s craft and passion for hairdressing.

You got this, ladies

We take the mystery out of hair and fashion and make it ready to wear” says Maria Kovacs. “And we believe in being ‘down to earth’, but at the same time, aesthetically we’re ‘up there’. We’re about being ‘user friendly! We share key high fashion knowledge, but break it down so stylists can translate the ideas into the real lives of their clients.”

Maria and Amy are excited to share and inspire a new generation of artistic hairdressers, helping them progress their knowledge and skills, giving them ideas, information and techniques to use both in the salon and in their own creative work.

And we are thrilled to see such initiatives launching and to share them with you. Education is key and this new year should bring us only creativity, talent, passion, positivity, new perspectives and good vibes. We are wishing you best of luck with your new venture, ladies.
