Spotlight is the latest digital competition from the Fellowship to show its members’ skills. This a virtual competition open to all ages; entering couldn’t be simpler. The goal is to identify the stars of the future who want to develop their careers. The Fellowship wants to help up-and-coming stylists put their work in the spotlight by allowing them to appear on stage at events. This will be a wonderful opportunity to those who want to show off their talents!
About spotlight
The competition is split into two age groups, the under 25s and the over 25s, and divided into two heats. For the first heat, the Fellowship will invite members to send in a four-minute presentation showing cut, colour or creative ideas on a doll head or live model. A panel of invited judges, including make-up, photography and hair experts, will look at the videos and select the finalists to proceed to the next heat.
For heat two, each finalist will produce a second digital presentation based on a brief provided by the Fellowship. The Fellowship will show the finalists’ presentations during a pre-recorded show and live-streamed via the Fellowship App.

Robert says: “…what’s really exciting for me is the prize that the winners will receive which includes the opportunity to attend 4 mentoring days on any of the 6 Fellowship Projects in 2024, a PR package including distribution of the winner’s work to industry publications and a front cover, a Style Stage presentation featured on the Fellowship App, fast track to the 2024 semi-finals of the F.A.M.E Team and to spend a day with the 2023 Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year, truly a prize that money couldn’t buy.”
Fellowship experts will judge the presentations, with the winners announced at the Luncheon & Awards on Monday, 4th December. Don’t miss out on an opportunity to demonstrate what you can do and get your name out there. We look forward to seeing the winning video.
