On trend now: curly fringes

I’m sure you know how much your curly-haired clients worship you, as they know first hand the importance of a great haircut. Because every head of curls is different – in texture, shape and versatility – a cut can make or break their hairstyle. With the curly fringe as the hottest, must-have look for your curly girls, they’ll need you more than ever.

Sam Ashcroft, member of the creative team at Brooks & Brooks, London, says rather than one size fits all, a more individual approach is required, especially as one head can have varying different textures. “We know that a little goes a long way when cutting curly hair and creating a great shape can last months. Traditionally fringes and curly hair have been thought of as a big no, but times are changing and we think curly fringes are a great way of giving you an easy cool-girl style.”

The variety of fringe styles for curly hair is endless – anything super wide to short and micro will look great. And whilst clients wait for their next trim, they can have some fun with gorgeous hair accessories to keep the grown out fringe out the way and still on trend. We think the longer fringe is perfect for curls, skimming the eyebrows and blending into the sides!

Stevie Nicks may have been the original muse, but celebrities such as Zendaya, Lily Collins, Beyonce and Ciara have been rocking the look lately.
