July 4th is pretty much the only date in the diary that’s of importance to anyone right now – if you’re in the industry that is! But as the day of re-opening looms closer we thought it would be a great opportunity to relish the calm before the storm to gather your messages of hope – both personal and professional – for hairdressing post Lockdown. Here’s what you said…

“My hope for a post lock down world is that stylists and creatives get all the respect they deserve. It’s become so apparent how much people need their stylist in their life. Were just hairdressers we have a really important part to play in making people feel their best.” Janine Jennings, ghd Head of Education UK & ROI

“We believe that by supporting each other we can all emerge stronger with a renewed perspective and appreciation for our businesses, teams and customers. This experience will produce new and innovative approaches that will strengthen the industry into the future.” Katie Wrighton, National Sales Manager, Takara Belmont (UK) Ltd.

“Throughout this time, I’ve found comfort in the fact that we’re in this together and moving forward we continue to show solidarity in this brilliant industry. This thought makes it all a little bit easier to manage and reminds us that we’re not going through this alone, we’re all in the same boat and can support each other. It is an exciting prospect to get back to the salon doing what we love, making people feel good, making ourselves feel good and lifting peoples moods!” Adam Reed, UK Editorial Ambassador for L’Oréal Professionnel
