Maya Jama x Inanch

We can’t be the only ones who tuned into Love Island: All-Stars last night…It was fun seeing the past stars we all know and love (or not) return to our screens. And, we must say, one detail stood out: Host Maya Jama and her fabulous hair. It’s only fitting to discuss the details of Maya’s stunning look, created by extensionist Inanch Emir, co-owner of Inanch Salon in central London.

Inanch has worked with Maya for several years, giving her a super-long hairstyle for this Love Island season, set to sizzle our TV screens this winter.

Maya looked sensational as she stepped out for pre-publicity shots in South Africa.

The details

Inanch says, “Maya has beautiful hair already, but for Love Island 2024, we added around 200 stands of pre-bonded Gold Class curly hair texture in 50cm length, which matches her own curl pattern. She likes the length and fullness it gives her, and the versatility in styling it offers while she is away from home.

“She can wear it blow-dried smooth or with the natural wave; the possibilities are endless. The extensions give her a feeling of fuller, thicker hair, which is perfect for her time in the villa.”

Need style inspo?

Do you have extension clients needing style inspo? Show them Maya’s super-long versatile look, they may just fall in love. Mermaid hair doesn’t have to be summer-only.

Inanch Salon is an award-winning salon in Fitzrovia. (will insert photo). Inanch herself has been in the business for 25 years, so it’s no wonder we can admire her work.
