The Live Fashion Awards put on yet another dazzling show in the beautiful setting of Fuerteventura and inspired hairdressers with some of the most creative work. Over seven days, the winners and ambassadors travelled the island with the Live Studio Production team to put together their next editorial collection.
Who were the winners?
- Best Male collection – Rino Riccio
- Best Female commercial collection – Viktoriia Vradii
- Best Creative color collection – Giuseppe Stelitano
- Best Avant Garde Collection – Rafael Bueno
- Best Hairdresser of the Year – Joeri Rouffa
A gala, presented by Eric Maurice, Yeli Rodríguez and Byrd Mena also awarded three special prizes.
- Best International Photographer of the Year – Pascal Latil
- Best Editorial Hairdresser of the Year – Peter Gray
- Best Ambassador Live Fashion Hair Awards – Mark van Westerop
The day after the awards Live Fashion organised training for the attendees. Viktoriia Vradi delighted the audience with a sample of her talent when it comes to commercial hairdressing. Rino Riccio shared tips on men’s hairdressing, pushing barbershop and fashion boundaries. Giuseppe Stelitano, creative director of Trevor Sorbie, used his winning collection to take us into the world of colour, avant-garde and the most transgressive styles. And Rafael Bueno presented his new collection for the first time, giving his already well-known waves a twist and introducing them into a more risky concept.
Now, newly appointed ambassador, Mark van Westerop will now be in charge of taking the Live Fashion Awards around the world – we can’t wait to see him take on this new challenge.
Best Male Collection
Whilst each of the winners created some pretty impressive collections, we wanted to give a special shout out to Rino Riccio. We love to see a men’s collection here at Respect, check out Rino’s winning collection below…
