Industry professionals really put the pedal to the metal recently, in aid of the Hair & Beauty Charity, raising an amazing £9,638.55 towards helping hair and beauty professionals in need.
The charity annual bike ride, this year took place in Girona, Spain, which has the largest concentration of professional cyclists in the world. The trip had a cycling schedule catering for all levels of cycling expertise with expert bike guides who accompanied the fundraisers, taking the group on rides of varying abilities, with gentle routes to full-on adventures into the foothills and beyond.
What an achievement
The bike ride was once again organised by Victor Pajak from Headquarters. A fantastic feat for all the bikers who took part, but a special shout out to the top three fundraisers Stacey Humphreys from L’Oréal Professionnel who raised £1,779.17, Anne Veck who raised £1,519 and Jason Miller from Charlie Miller salon who raised £1,080.
Other riders included Hair & Beauty Charity co-President Philip Sharp and charity supporters, Andre Marsh and David Dalrymple (Scruffs Hairdressing), Andrew and Julie Mercer (Goldwell), Brian Thomson (Leslie Hairdressing), Jeff Goodwin (Jeff Goodwin Hair), Kate Preston, Ian Chisham, Libby Rock and Alexander Bosher (Kate Preston Salons), Toby Dicker (The Chapel), Mariya Tsvetkova (Headquarters), and Stuart Chapman (L’Oréal Professional) .
Hair & Beauty Charity Co-President Philip Sharp says about this year’s charity bike ride: “Thank you so much to all the people who joined us this year and everyone who supported them in raising such a terrific amount of money for our industry charity.
