Yes you read the title right. Nikita Fisher didn’t just land one finalist position in the Colour World Genius Awards. She made it as a finalist in five categories (and she’s even in one category twice)
Huge congratulations to Nikita. It really was no joke when she told us how much she loves to colour hair in her recent interview.
The Colour World Genius Awards had a total of over 700 entries. Each category was judges by 35 renowned colourists and between them hey narrowed it down to six finalists per category – that’s some pretty special work. Nikita, co-director of Palmer Fisher London says “I am absolutely buzzing to have finalised in five categories with six entires. I am even more excited for the live event and can’t wait to be at the awards evening.”
People’s Choice
Nikita created an Instagram Reel that was posted onto Colour World’s Instagram. The Reels that received the top number of likes finalised in this category. Finalists then had to submit an image of their best colour work which will be judged to reveal the winner later this month.

Colour correction
Nikita perfectly showcased that she can assess colour and make tasteful transformations that she landed two finalist positions in this category.
Commercial and Afro
This sure is a head-turning colour. It’s no wonder Nikita nailed yet another two finalist spots with this stunning hair colour. A gorgeous yet accessible colour that reflects 2022 trends but also showcases the beauty of applying colour to Afro textured hair
Innovative
Nikita seriously wowed the judges with her impressive colour skills here, showing that her colour skills are fresh and exciting. The combination of pastel tones are the perfect contrast against the model’s dark hair. It’s current, cool and creative.
