Fellowship Luncheon and Hair Awards  

The Fellowship for British Hairdressing celebrated a momentous 2023 with its annual Luncheon and Hair Awards at The Londoner. A popular location in Leicester Square. Star of the occasion, congratulations to Trevor Sorbie MBE, who won something very special: the Fellowship Lifetime Achievement Award.

Trevor Sorbie’s career has spanned six decades, and his commitment to the hairdressing industry is arguably unmatched. Trevor accepted his award in a room hosting many hairdressers who have been his creative and artistic team in previous years, including Angelo Seminara, Tom Connell, Antoinette Beenders, Euguene Souleiman, Keith Harris and Sally Brooks.  

The Fellowship Luncheon and Hair Awards   

2023 was an important year for the Fellowship, celebrating its growing membership. The Fellowship has a burgeoning executive board, new regional Centres of Excellence, and many educational opportunities for its members. The Luncheon brought together more than 400 industry guests from all over the UK to celebrate the growth and achievements of the hairdressing industry.

Fellowship president Robert Eaton thanked the audience for its support and shared an insight into what has been happening within the Fellowship. CEO Barry Stephens discussed the opportunities presented by the Fellowship and thanked loyal sponsors, brand partners and members.  

Chancellor Karoliina Saunders, special guest presenters and executive board members Michelle Griffin, Colin McAndrew, Simon Shaw, Andrew Barton, and Ashleigh Hodges shared their visions and goals for the Fellowship. Afterwards they shared their own journeys and goals within the industry.
