Dyson has appointed salon owner and session stylist, Errol Douglas as UK trade ambassador for the brand’s professional network and we are thrilled! Great news from one of our fave hairstylists.
With over 40 years in the industry, Errol will be Dyson’s go to ambassador to lead their professional network and support the brand with their education to stylists.
The multi award winner started his career into hairdressing from the age of 10, where he took a job at a local hair salon in East London; now he is known in the industry for being one of only four other hair stylists to ever receive the prestigious title of Patron of Honour for the Fellowship of British Hairdressing.
Errol has built a reputation in the UK for being one of the most prolific hairdressers in the market. He has an extensive background within the industry – from Fashion Week (working backstage for top designers like Balmain, Tom Ford, and Gucci) to styling celebrities such as Lewis Hamilton, Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell.
Errol’s salon in Knightsbridge employs some of the industry’s top colourists and stylists; it was one of the first salons in the world to be equipped with the Dyson Corrale straightener. The Dyson Corrale straightener uses patented Dyson flexing plates that shape to gather hair delivering enhanced styling with half the damage, whilst also providing cord-free versatility.
“Dyson are the pioneers of new hair technology and I am thrilled to be working with them to help build their professional network. As a stylist and a salon owner, my focus is the quality of my clients’ hair. I really love the Dyson Corrale Professional straightener because it gives me the control I need to achieve healthier looking styles without damage – what’s not to love!” Errol says.
