There’s no fear when you’re having fun, which is when we find the best things tend to happen. That’s what we truly love about our industry – hairdressers know how to have fun. No we’re not just talking about the after parties – although they are pretty fun – joy and laughter is everywhere, whether it be at a competition, backstage at Fashion Week or in the salon.

When Cos Sakkas, international artistic director and head of education at Toni & Guy got together with photographer Jack Eames and created this collection, they did just that – had fun, and we think you’ll agree, the results are pretty damn awesome. 

“Sometimes it’s important to have fun and play around with hair and imagery, with no agenda and no pressure,” says Cos. “This collection was me and photographer, Jack Eames, getting together to create looks that evolved during the day. There was no wrong or right, it was about creating images for no other reason than we wanted to.”

Reality check

Sometimes when you’re working on a collection or putting your all into an education programme, it’s easy to forget to let loose and have fun. So be inspired by this dream team and remember to laugh a lot and let the creativity flow.
